Dr Chintal Patel graduated from The Royal Free and University College London Medical School. She holds a Bsc in Immunology and cell pathology and post graduate diplomas in obstetrics and gynaecology and sexual health.

She completed her membership with the Royal College of General Practitioners with a merit in 2007 and has worked as portfolio GP since. In 2009, she completed her postgraduate Certificate in Primary Care Education and is a GP trainer for The Imperial College Genral  Practice Training Scheme. She is a member of the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine and currently works as a GP in London.

Dr Patel has a keen interest in health and nutrition and is currently studying a nutrition diploma. She has a passion for cooking and health education, she runs cookery workshops at Waitrose cookery school for parents and children.

She believes, anyone can make quick and easy healthy meals at home from scratch irrespective of kitchen experience and she shares her family friendly recipes and health tips via her website and on Instagram and facebook.

Dr Patel is also a patron for the charity Be-Enriched. A charity dedicated to connecting communities through food. She has recently written a recipe booklet for the charity of 50p quick and easy balanced healthy meals.

Dr Patels role within Your lifestyle doctors is to share quick and easy recipes, putting the theory into practice in order to inspire more people to cook from scratch daily in a time efficient way.
